During your PhD, you are expected to actively participate in the Journal Club. The Journal Club is a weekly meeting (usually held on Mondays) where first- and second-year PhD students present a published scientific article on any astronomical topic. The goal is to help students learn and improve how to present scientific research, following the typical standards of conferences, seminars, and science outreach activities.
